Anyone having any luck with the 162's using H1000? I've done pretty well with them and noticed they like a huge jump. I'm getting sub half moa at 2.68" to ogive (3.361 OAL) Just curious if others have experienced the same.

WHile not a 28 Nosler, I'm shooting them in a 7 RSAUM (17.5" bbl XP-100). Bullet into the lands and getting 1/2 MOA with them at 2775 fps with 65.0 gr H1000 (can probably go up a couple grains). 3.0175" OAL (don't recall the CBTO measurement). Bullet engages the lands enough that bolt closure is stiff.

Chamber freebore is 0.140" on my gun.

So, what I'm trying to portray, they will shoot even at the lands.

I've not yet tried jumping them.

Interesting. I never tried them at the lands or close. My gunsmith gave me the load data that has worked for almost all the 28's he's built and mine was no exception. I'm getting 3264 fps out of a 26" Proof barrel using 81.0g H1000.

I think I'll load up a few with a .020 jump just to compare the differences.
