What's the difference in these lights?

For night time predator hunting, would there be a difference in using a spotlight with a red lens like this one:

Versus paying a lot more for a dedicated red predator hunting light?

I'm not cheap. I'm willing to buy what I need. But I also like paying for value...

That's the throw like?
Its hard to gauge from a picture but I have 2 torches for spotlighting.
One is a HID 12V like this which is for my vehicle & attached to a remote mount-

The other in a rifle mounted olight which is this model-

The Olight with the extention tube & 2x 18650's last for a good 2-3 nights without charging depending on how you use it & its throw is almost equal ti the HID spotlight, the main difference between the 2 is the width of the beam on the HID 9' spotlight.

Neither of then have a red lens, I don't really believe it helps personally but each to their own.

I have a set of Wicked Lights. They are definitely top of the line. Plenty of power, aluminum housing, and rheostat. You can change the bulb to whatever color you want. I also have several Stanley Fat Max's with a pop on red lens cover. You can get them in the auto department at Walmart for about 50 bucks. Get one, use it correctly and you will kill as may coyotes as someone using the more expensive lights. It's the yellow one in the middle. This light is self contained. You do not have to plug it in except for charging. Several, because they are great to use around the house. Just pop the red lens off.

The two best scanning lights are FireEye from Foxpro and the Coyote Light. They are expensive for a reason which is design quality and warranty. Now if the discussion goes to gun mounted lights then Wicked Light could be brought into the discussion although the Coyote Light is excellent in that department and what I have been using for years.

venatic you are correct. I got to try a FireEye last week. Definitely an upgrade from my older Wicked Light. Enough for me to buy one? Nah. We are talking about the best of the best lights. Denali trucks and Gunwerk rifles. If money is no problem. Definitely pic you up a FireEye. Will it really help you kill more coyotes? Well.....
