What ballistic program in swaro el 10x42r

Unless Swarovski have released a new model my understanding is that these give the actual line of sight range on the top line of the display. The second line can be turned off, show the angle or the corrected distance. With my Leica 2700B I use the corrected distance and dial my scope and it works very well. I use this method with several calibres including the 6.5-284 Norma. I hope this helps.

As of yet they only calculate the distance and do not give a shooting solution like the Leica HD-B's if that is your question.

Thanks that was my?. Why would a person get these instead of the Leica or Zeiss? Am I missing something?
Because they are still a great pair of binos and the "all in one" ballistic calculating bino still doesn't take wind readings so most are using a rangefinder and an ap like Shooter or similar paired with a Kestral. I have the Leica HD-B's and while they are great for solo hunting they only give solutions to ~800 yards with no wind, spin drift, coriolis, etc. and are a pain to program and only hold one profile at a time. They do have their place. Most of the time I use EL12x50 paired with a Kilo 2400 or a G7BR2 and what I am starting to find is that I might like 10x in my rangefinder when I'm looking way out there, sometimes I can't find the target I see in the binos.
Also ranging binos have a slight tint to the lens so you can see the LED display, some don't like it. The Zeiss model looks to be the most advanced pair out so far but I'm not sure what ballistic program it uses. New toys are coming out all the time !

I really don't plan on shooting more than 800 yards. So I don't know how much wind drifts and such would come into play. Really only plan on nothing more than 5-600 yards. I have a Leupold RF now but can't load my data for new gun into it.
