Does anyone know the case capacity of adg 28 nosler brass?

No no no, I'm currently using Nosler brass, it's weak in the web or maybe, too weak for my intended performance.

OK, I understand. I forgot that you previously said you're not yet using the ADG brass.

I'm still groggy from a surgery this morning on my knee I damaged last week on a hunt.

I took one nosler and one ADG brass, put a spent primer in each.
Loaded each with H335 powder using a 6" drop tube.

The nosler volume averaged 109.1 grains

The ADG volume averaged 112.2 grains

I weighed 50 ADG brass,
260-260.9....5 total
261-261.9....37 total
262-262.9....8 total
Thanks for the info.
I just received some of the Gunwerks once fired 28 Nosler brass today. Rumored to be made by ADG. I'm getting about 262 grains with spent primers.

Please clarify.
How does less capacity equal higher velocity? I understand less case capacity with the same amount of powder equals higher pressure, but all cartridges have a limit. Larger case capacity leads to a higher amount of powder to reach max pressure, thus more gas propellant = higher velocities.
Please disregard if I misunderstood your post.
If you are putting equal amounts of powder into both you're going to generate higher pressure and higher velocity in the case that has less capacity.

That's also why shooting the same load in both can cause significant over pressures that can be damaging. Always better to back off a few grains and work up when you change lots or brands of brass just in case.
