New to long range but not hunting

Hello all, I'm Art from Mesa, Az. Been reading on here a while and decided to introduce myself. I've hunted since I was a kid but don't remember ever shooting at an animal past 300 yds. Glad to be here

Hey Art, good to hear from you. And I can relate; shooting and hunting for many years but LONG RANGE hunting? Not so much. But it has been interesting reading and learning from the folks on this forum.

Thanks man. I'm in the process of upgrading my equipment and hopefully can get into a precision rifle class local before it gets too hot here.

Thanks guys. I've been shooting Mark V 300 wby Ultralight for quite a few years. Just purchased a the GAP 7mm from the classifieds. Still thinking about glass. I do have a Premier Hunter gen 2 mil dot with an exposed elevation turret. Not sure if that's what I'm going to use yet or not
