Even though I got a Parker Thunder Hawk a week and a half before getting the "we are going out of business" email and would not be able to return it like someone suggested because of the way I got it. Mail order from an ebay site. Bow was new but it was a 2017 model and only cost to my door $339 in stead of the normal $700 for the 2018 model with the same lighted reticle scope. It quit raining and warmed up yesterday afternoon to allow me to zero the scope. I am sure glad that I paid attention to what a fellow said on one of the YouTube videos about not shooting at the same spot twice or it could get expensive. This thing is a shooter. After getting it zeroed I shot at the same spot at 20 yards pulling the arrow after each shot for three shots and the arrow went into the same hole as the arrow before it did. I only had room to safely shoot 20 yards yesterday. Will arrange to go elsewhere to shoot longer range when I can. I just hope this crossbow last without any problems like the Parker vertical bow I have that I used for years without a single problem.

Congrats! I went to a crossbow myself this year and having a ball shooting it. Like you said, they are extremely accurate. If you want to know more about crossbows in general, frequent "Crossbow Nation" forum. There is a lot of good information and shared knowledge there. Happy hunting and shooting!

I posted this back in December. Since then I bought an Excalibur Matrix Bulldog 380. I still have the Parker and will use it as a back up to the Excalibur if needed and probably will set up the Parker to fool around with maybe small game hunting. My Excalibur bow in my opinion is a MUCH better bow plus it's about 60 fps faster.
Already am on Crossbow Nation and have paid the price. They will talk you into spending money. LOL Reason I got the Excalibur and a half dozen of Jerry's Tap arrows.

I found mine for what I thought was a great price on the eBay store Pine Mountain Archery. But I got confused about which scope was which and ended up getting the scope that did not have lighted sight marks. After I then found the scope I wanted with the lighted marks I probably could have bought one of the combo bows that Wyvern Creations has at just as good or better price. Check them out. Also go to Crossbow Nation web site and do some asking about where to get bows etc. They will be glad to help you spend your money LOL.

I have a few buddies that bought Parker Crossbows during the sale. I think they are Thunder Hawkes also, honestly I think it has converted me. I'm amazed at the accuracy, you can split bolts at 30yds.
