Best scope for the money

I would buy a loaded out Nikon x1000 6x24x50 it would be hard to beat at that price point
Only reason I wouldn't, it because Nikon's parent company got busted donating money to anti-gun and gun control groups.

How stupid can they be? That's corporate suicide to sell sport optics and rifle scopes, but support anti-gun groups.

One question for you....what about Hawke...they are incredible folks to work with and Sidewinder is well under 1000.00....like 579.00 in the U S. for 8x32 x56. Excellent clarity for the price at 32 no shading
I've not tested them personally and not a single person has ever shown up to my classes with a Hawke scope. I simply have no good data on them.

Thanks...answered my question....you could contact Jess and see if he would send you one...you have great knowledge on the rest.I am real happy with the new 8x32x56...heck of good price point

I have most of the afforded scopes yall have listed and are all +/- $1000 bucks. That being said, I like my Leupold ffp PRC above all. The only detractor is it dosen't have a fast focus eye piece.

I'm looking to get a new setup, my first thing looking for is my scope, Whats the best scope you can buy for $1000 , now if i have to wait for a used one to come around i will. i was looking at the Vortex Viper PST Gen2 5x25x50 , i will use it for some hunting and long range shooting, Thanks Guys
My choice for a scope in that power range is SIGHTRON for that price range. The SIII series

Give me Leupold or give me Death. No cheap scopes, no foreign scopes! I am an American. As a hunter you need a quality scope. A good rifle, setup properly, is a lifetime investment. When the weather is really wrong or at first or last light, you can't see the antlers on a 4 point Buck at 400 yards through a cheap scope. Been there and not going back.
Weatherby is made in Japan...just saying !

If he only knew where most of his hunting equipment was ACTUALLY made... Just because it's an American company, doesn't mean their products are made in America, or that all of the parts in it are, either. ;)

Not to mention the best glass in the world is made in Austria and Germany... 2nd best is Japan. Leopold is old tech, not worth the money, IMO.

Look at the vx5hd, better than the NF SHV, mark 4, mark 6 and vx3i are old tech.

I have... Still old tech in a modified old wrapper. I have a hard time believing it's better than any NF scope. And I'm not being bias, as I don't even own a NF scope (but I've shot through plenty), and used to own a few Leupolds.

I own the vx5hd and the shv, glass is better in the leupold.
