Ok. I've spoken to several manufacturers regarding aics mag and bottom metal for a Tikka chambered in 6.5 PRC.
General consensus is that the wsm aics is the go to and Grayboe's new bottom metal for the CTR is great.
Does anyone have any contradicting information that I should know about?
What say you, oh gun lords of the interwebs?

Not to redirect the thread but I'm also interested in knowing if they will work in a .300 WM AICS mag if anyone has any info on that.

Why not set it up with a long action bolt stop and run factory Tikka la win mag or rem mag magazine? Just disassemble and grind down the intenal ribs with a dremel, will feed very well with long oal wsm, saum or prc rounds.

An excellent point and what most who run factory plastics do as well as run a wsm mag. This thread is regarding after market, aics set ups

I'd run a mountain tactical aics long action bottom metal, use the 3.5" something win mag magazine, mod the feed lips a bit, that way you can seat your bullets out to whatever length you desire.

A 215 Berger seated with the boat tail junction at the neck shoulder junction of a 300 win is right at 3.7" I am unaware of any magazine that will fit in a Tikka that is that long internally. I love the Tikka but I just do not see it as a viable long magnum option with out somewhat neutering the cartridge. I just do not get why you would limit yourself to a short magazine. If I were building a 6.5PRC on a Tikka I would use factory bottom "metal" with a long Tikka magnum Magazine and a long bolt stop which is cheap and easy to replace.

To answer your question. That is what most are saying. I am not a DBM kind of guy but the factory ammo is 2.950 which seems like it is cutting it a little close for my comfort. I agree with Highdrum.
