Best scope for the money

The OP wants to git the best of both worlds when he buys a scope, if you don't like it than use you irons, but don't try to push your ideas on someone else.

Uka seems to have 2 major axes he's grinding.

  1. Buying expensive optics is ludicrous/ It is unfair for companies to charge so much
  2. Hunting at long range (over 450) is unacceptable.
One of these days he'll realize he's on a long range hunting forum.

I said I would still use a scope for hunting but not spend so much and you are pushing your ideas on me

the fact that I am stupid for not paying 3K for a scope and not talking an 900 yd shot in REAL field conditions. I don't care what anyone else does I just stated my opinions. to me 450-500 yds is long range hunting. if you think 2 miles is long range hunting fine with me
 
but a $250 chinese scope is still a *** compared to a real quality scope, if you do not know that, you are wasting powder.

I did not tell anybody not to do anything I JUST SAID WHAT I WOULD DO. I am here cause I like finding out about the gear people use
