Custom 6.5 prc

MileHigh is about 4 miles from my office ... they do phenomenal work. I have had four custom rifles built by them: 6x47, 280AI, 6mm Creedmore and .204 Ruger. All rifles shoot under 1/2 MOA with factory ammo and occasionally under 1/4 MOA with hand loads ... trouble is I can't hold 1/4 MOA every I time I shoot these rifles ...

Here is a pic of a 100 yard 3-shot group out of the MileHigh built .280AI shooting 168gr accubonds LR. The only bullets that have shot over 1/2" are the old Barnes X-bullets.

Nice! They're great people too!

Thanks for all the nice words. Don't know how it shoots yet. Timney had sent the wrong trigger so I'm waiting for the replacement to show up to switch them out. Then get the scope mounted up. I'll post more pictures once it's mounted up and I start breaking it in. Just going to shoot factory ammo for now as I still haven't even set up my reloading stuff in this house.

I have the Defiance medium action which is the same length as a 700 short action. I didn't go with the XM cause I more than likely won't load unless for some odd reason it doesn't shoot, which I don't think is going to be a problem.

Thanks! Pretty excited to get it mounted up and out to the range. My next was going to be just like this but 300PRC with a proof, but I really like the look of that lilja.
...not a 300 PRC ~ Hornady has the .300 RCM and the .338 RCM (Ruger Compact Magnum)
The 6.5 PRC was designed by Hornady using the RCM case to address issues with the 6.5 Creedmore that they also designed.

There is also a 300 PRC.

Omg. There's a flaw in the Creedmoor?? Don't say that.

Just read all the hype about them all over the web. There the best thing since sliced bread.
