What's the matter Ed? I'd figure you'd be all for it, that way yall can invite me up there, and then I'd suffer a horrendous hunting "accident" where I fell down a ravine, and nobody can prove whether I was actually pushed or not...

I'm sure there's quite a few people that would like to be in on that hunting trip.

Nonsense, he's the first person they'd look at. Therefore he's got a vested interest in keeping you alive.

I on the other hand would avert all suspicion with my full cooperation and testimony. "Detective, the last time I seen him was scouting the top of that 250 foot cliff with Ed, I sure hope he's ok..." :D

I would NEVER wish that to anybody, even you. Besides, my comment was never meant for you - reelhardmt and Defiance7mm knows exactly what I am talking about.

hahaha yeah go to Colorado, Wyoming or Idaho!!!

Don't come to CO, all elk have moved to MT...:D

.284 over 2,800 FPS... In 2002 I specifically ordered my first Sendero SF 7mm STW for elk hunting with my father. Unfortunately, due to health reasons he was never able to go, therefore we never booked a trip. So...Still never been.

Remember my offer, get a MT tag and your butt here and you'll kill elk on me, serious!!!

I am now hunting with 6.5 SAUM and 140 grain projectiles traveling at @3075 fps. Rifle is physically light weight, easy on the shoulder and gets the job done.

It's not

It's not out there period! The closest thing would be a 300 Norma mag.

Sorry...but you need to add the .300 PRC to your list if you are looking at the Norma. This is the re-named Ruger 30-375 ( Hornady...go figure...:D) and they are starting to push it pretty hard. Watch for reviews of it as compared to the .300 Norma , as it fits/performs between the Norma and the .338 Lapua. But on a .300 size and class of receiver.

No it does not. Norma has significantly more powder capacity
