Help on Savage stock

I'm not a savage guy but my brother likes them and has a 116 trophy hunter without the accustock. He's looking at a Bell and Carlson sporter and is wondering what fits. His rifle has a detachable mag and a bottom bolt release (little black button in front of trigger guard) would this be the right stock? I'm a little confused at savage model numbers and series to start with and this stock doesn't say anything for a rifle model. Anyone ever tried one? Post some info or a picture if anyone has one.

Yes they are the same. Some times the action screws are slightly different lengths on Savage actions from the factory. But that depends on whether it is a wood stock or synthetic. I believe the plastic and Accutock screws are the same.
