It sure gets old having some out of state jackweed crying about how a wolf outside the park got shot.

"We know there's a local population, a very small population of people, that have killed wolves, and bait wolves and try and create this controversy, so that was our concern, and the residents rely on tourism dollars, let's face it," Rohm is quoted saying.

Rohm is a "wildlife filmaker" from Pittsburg!

"I spend a lot of time and money there," he said. "It's a great place to visit. The people are awesome."

But he also said, "Cooke City is going to have to decide what they want to be," a town that caters to hunters or one that is pro wildlife watching.

I would like to see the hunters show support for the Cooke City businesses by coming to town and helping them with their wolf problem. Unfortunately, FWP put a ridiculously low quota on them so the problem is only gonna get worse.

All the Marty Stouffer pukes can't keep up with the main business in Cooke City, which is snowmobiling. But hey, global warming will take that away:rolleyes:

If the wolf huggers are in Montana, means I won' be tripping over them at the home farm...then again it was -40 this morning...tends to keep animal and tree huggers far far away .... at the nearest Starbuck's..sucking on a latte.......

Most hunters are pro wildlife watchers. What's boggling to me is these two supposedly 'opposed' groups have EXACYLY the same goals. Fostering healthy animal populations.

Why create problems where they don't exist?

I guess it's more profitable than trying to solve REAL problems that ACTUALLY exist...

It used to be 'divide and conquer',

Now it's 'divide and profit'.

Beware the false Prophet [sic] Profit

So was I in a way....takes someone with that kind of mentality to find away around much of the State and Federal regulations...kind of neat to see that mind at work..but at close exposure can give one the willies...
