Yes. I am building a Surgeon XL 300 Norma Improved. I can't stand the 20* shoulder. Everything I primarily build is an Improved version of some sort

I would say some flavor of a 6.5 cartridge. What is your intended use for it, hunting, practice?

I'm not building a rifle right now. I was just posting a picture of how big the Norma is next to my little Dasher.

I'm having a 45cal muzzleloader barrel chambered for elk hunting. My next project will be a long action hunting rifle. The 7-300 NMI by WTO is a possibility. I try to stick with cartridges that lapua makes brass for. I only bought the Bertram pictured because it was $1/pcs and there is no telling how long it will be before I get 300 Norma lapua brass

Disagree.....anything but a Creedmoor. The 6.5 PRC is what the Creedmoor should have been
