Always craved a set of the ESP models. Place locally to me has some some G.E.A.R. brand ..

Which do yall use ? Results? Complaints?

I used to use Caldwell, but I hunted in the rain once and they fried. Definitely not waterproof lol, I should definitely have checked the weather for that day instead of assuming that clear skies now=clear skies later.

What I use now are Howard something or other, Howard Light maybe? Anyways I like them, but haven't tested them in rain for water proofness.

I used those for years duck hunting in Oregon and they saw rain maybe 20 times per season for probably 6 seasons...mine are 9 yrs old and still going strong...Howard Leight if I recall corrrectly.

I use the Howard Leight also, I've had them for about 6 yrs with no problems. You can hear hits on animals or steel better too.

I use Howard Leight impact sports usually while at the range. Decent enough without breaking the bank. But I'm not a huge fan of them while hunting. The wind noise can be terrible. For hunting in the field I use Howard Leight Qb1. They are a very low tech, around the neck band, with ear plugs on the end. I just wear them around my neck while hiking and then put them in my ears before I shoot. Cheap, simple, light solution with no batteries to die while away from the truck.

Not the best but they are cheap and weigh nothing.

Actually have been using the bluetooth jabra for range time and sometimes while hunting. They have a small case that recharges them. I have had these since august and quit a bit of time with them without complaints as of yet
