hello

I have an opportunity to buy this rifle at a very affordable price
I would like to know what diameter it has in muzzle, if I can muzzle threading or not, to put a muzzle brake, since the recoil must be quite strong

regards

When buying a used 300 Rum, I'd want to know the round count for sure. They are big time barrel burners. I have read where people sometimes only get 300 to 500 rounds through them before having to re-barrel.

Not certain, but I believe that barrel diameter is around 0.700" at the muzzle, if it's the "magnum" contour.

I have a Krieger bbl on my 300 RUM with a muzzle diameter of 0.750" and have a brake on it.

I want to buy it and in the future, change the stock, muzzle threading, etc.
But if I can not thread, I do not want it.
the recoil must be very unpleasant

Recoil is stiff, but manageable if you aren't sensitive. And the burnt barrel in 3-500 rounds, baloney. I'll measure my factory BDL SS later and get back. mtmuley

Vita - If its a great deal, the 300 rum is a very good and accurate rifle. Sounds like you have a great plan. I know 3 folks that have them, and they all get 1/2 MOA with over the counter Barnes ammo. The recoil is very tough, but if you can thread, a good muzzle break will help tremendously...….

thanks Mobenzowner.
it's a whim that I have in mind for a long time.
I'm going to try to get the shop owner to measure the muzzle.
I'm a little far
