Very nice! I am partial to nicely figured maple. I like your stippling, too. Had I been working that piece of maple I believe I would have darkened the buttstock a little more to match the forend, which I like the overall effect very much. I built a stock like that for a 7mm Rem Mag a very long time ago.

Looks beautiful !! I have a Remington 700 BDL in 270 Winchester that has been glass bedded with a Timminey trigger and features a Fiddle Back Maple stock, I a real sucker for nicely figured wood.
