Does a brake help tighten groups?

Why not just use electronic hearing protection and use it all the time wow shooting or hunting? It enhances hearing and protects the hearing you have.

Well I think that I will shoot the .338 and go from there!

I've been shooting the 270wsm alot lately and the recoil really doesn't bother me but it would sure be nice to see my impacts on target rocks etc. I think that I will just use a video camera or something for those instances. I would rather not have a break if I don't really need it. The .338 may be a different story?? We'll see!
