Can I build on one a small shank?

I have a brand new 223 that I haven't shot yet. Rifle is almost a year old.

I think you will get some yes and some no on that but I know it's done even on the Saum size(.550") case head and the PRC is .530'

I wouldn't have a problem building one on a small shank.

The small shank is the standard size until they came out recently with the Target Model.
