Wyoming 2018

Way to go GF that's what I call a great hunt to beautiful animals in good country does not get better than that. I too landed an Antelope after 13 years of drawing the weather was great the scenery was awesome and the trophy was icing. Hope the rest of your season goes just as well.

Way to go! That antelope was so fast his tops went backwards!

I have been getting more and more comfortable shooting from sticks and a kneeling knee or sitting knee for rear support. I am not 600 yards on animals comfortable yet but I think that is my favorite position if I can't get prone.

Lots of cooling off periods here in Nevada for all the guys I know, not expecting many hero shots this year so this is awesome.

Had a good week of hunting the foothills of the Bighorns. A couple days of +20MPH winds presented some challenges. Had a favorable position on this antelope with a 12 O'clock, 22 MPH wind, negating the need for.any wind correction at 594 yards and landing the bullet right behind the shoulder.. A bit more luck with the white tail a few days earlier, initially lined up at 650 yards, I waited him out, and he moved in for a 300 yard shot. Both DRT, taken with my Cooper 6.5x284, 140 JLK VLD @2982FPS.
