What zero range do you use for a 28 nosler?

Anymore I set the zero on the turret for 100yds, easiest to double check then spin it to mpbr when I go hunting

That's what I do with turret scopes. Besides being logical, it keeps everyone speaking the same language.

For subtension reticles its usually a 300 yard zero on rifle/cartridge combos that will support it, 200 if they won't. Straight duplexs and such get a MPBR sighting.

I like the simplicity of setting the zero at 100 yards and dialing for 250 yds when hunting.

I load develop and zero at 200y. Then dial to mpbr for the atmosphere I am hunting at. I have evolved to this recently. Used to zero at 300y. Then dial up from there.

I zero at 200 no dialing necessary until after 300+. Just hold high at the bottom of the spine behind the shoulder and you will hit the vitals.

There's no reason to make it any more complicated than necessary and if you are dialing for every shot opportunity you're going to miss a lot of opportunities.

I frequently have far less than 30 seconds from the time I spot an animal to get an accurate shot on target.

morning, zero rifle where u live at what range u
r comfortable. when arriving at hunting location,
depending on the elevation, bar, wind, and other
weather factors check zero, adjust. different
rifle loads do not always shoot the same at different graphic
locations. justme gbot tum
