Need affordable scope recommendation

I'm a big fan of Athlon. See TSS Outfitters or Guns Midwest for the best prices I've seen. At TSS the Argos BTR FFP 6-24x50 is $297 and the Helos BTR FFP 6-24x50, which is my choice, is $451. Neither have zero stop, though the Helos has locking turrets.

Lifetime warranty too.

Find a Vortex Viper HS LR in 4-16 x 50 in the classifieds here or online used. It will be below your budget and **** good scopes. I have 4 of them and use on some big hard kicking magnums and they hold zero and track great. Promise you can sell and get money back if you don't like after trip. My guess is you will never sell.

Take a look at Hawke Optics. The prices on their scopes aren't that bad and they are quality glass. I have 3 scopes and a red dot and love every one of them.

has anyone suggested the Nikon 4.5-14 BDC in the ProStaff (250.00 bracket) or 4-16X42MM Monarch 3 are something in the $449.00 plus tax bracket.

Tract has a great deal on the Tekoa model in 2.5-10 and 3-12x50 for under $400. I have three Tract scopes, hard to beat for the money. Click on their banner on this site and riflescope outlet

Most of us already know this, but it's info that's kind of being hidden from the shooting community... Last year, Nikon was caught monetarily donating support to anti-gun groups. This its why most of us stopped buying and recommending Nikon.

Want cheap and good, get yourself an older Bushnell 4200 4-16 x40 or x50.
Cheap and awesome, might not use your other scope right when it comes back.
