Looking to upgrade my binos for this season. These are the 2 I've narrowed it down to that are in my price range. Looking for opinions or experiences with both. Let me know. Thanks

Edit: 9-13-18 I ordered the 10x42 Slc from the LRH store. Demo model $1399 to the door. Pretty good deal. They'll be here Saturday. Can't wait. Thanks again for everyone's input and experiences. I sure appreciate it.

Both good glass, it will come down to your preference on how they show colors. Dont look through the Notivids or you'll have to save a little longer!
Lol thanks for your opinion. I appreciate it. I'm definitely settled on these 2 for now. My hunting partner has the Geovids and I like them. Don't really need the rangefinder as I use a G7. Have you looked through both? Any preference out of these 2?

I have the swaro's and a buddy of mine has the geovids. I think the geovids are a very slight bit better for glass, but the weight difference makes me like the swaro's more for hiking. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the reply. Are his Geovids HD?

I am a Swaro guy. But I just recently bought a pair of Lecia 2200 HD-B for my daughter. I got them as demo's from Camera Land for $1499 shipped. Camera Land and SWFA both told me that the Swaro's 10x42 EL's were better glass than the Lecia 2200 HD-B. But I bought the Lecia's because of price only for my daughter. She and I like my Swaro's better. My Swaro's are 8.5x42 EL's HD.

I have EL 10x42s and the newer ultravid HD 8x50's. The ultravids are a step up from the geovids, but the Swaros are still hands down nicer glass.

I'd love to get the El's but a little out of my price range. Thanks for the input!!

I have a set of 8x32 EL...my favorite binos. for a little less dollars take a hard look at the maven B2 11x45s--I have a set of their 12x56s and they are very good to my eye...

Thanks for your input. I've looked at (not through) the Mavens. And have heard great things. I'm set on going with Leica or Swaro.
