Greetings Everyone, glad to finally be here. I am looking for any info for the 2018 Wyoming Antelope season. I will be going 2nd week of October.
Since this will be my first time hunting there, I got a doe tag and a Muddy Mountain access permit, and will be staying in Casper. Will be using a RAP in 6.5. Just looking for a place to start. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Your main priorities should be:
1) Purchase the ONX app for your cell and get a battery pack backup, or get a gps with the ONX chip... this should be priority #1.
2) Study and learn the roads..Even though they look public or start out public doesn't mean anything. Some counties have their public road
maps posted online.
3) Bring some decent binos. You don't need alpha glass or spotting scopes to score on a decent goat. They are nice, but not mandatory.
4) Decent boots.
5) Have fun! Antelope hunting is a blast. Don't sweat it too much... they can be everywhere yet after opening weekend they can be a bit tough if hunting public. Put in some time and a little effort and you should have some ultra-delicious meat to take home!
I am not familiar with your GMU, so this as far as I can help.
Good luck. Study those maps and the ONX and you should be fine. Planning is half the fun.

Hi Manitou, very solid advice. The ONX is on the way,I have one for my state (Ililnois) for coyote hunting. It definitely helps. Ordered a topo map of area 32 as well. Bringing my Vortex binos and Danners. Planing on a 4 day hunt. Mon to Thurs. So I hope for not too much traffic. I will post when I get home with my results. Thanks Again.
