IMR 8133?

Good to hear Rich! I was fearing full blown addiction requiring therapy. Or some other worse psychosis. No worries now!

What is everyone thoughts on this powder in a 28 Nosler? I had a pound I used for the 180ELDM, but did not see much difference than Retumbo, have not tried any on the 195 EOL. Using RL33, I found it to be the most accurate and provided the most velocity with the 195, 3043fps, I was wondering if 8133 would be close, if anyone has some good data in the 28 I would appreciate it.

Try ramshot LRT for your nosler. It's pretty close to RL33, hopefully without the barrel grime it leaves. I'm going to run it in my 30 nosler with 215-230 wt bullets.

Do you have any links to load data for LRT. First I've heard of it , so I checked the Ramshot web site and seems like it would be a good slow burner for the 300 RUM, 30/378 etc .

I have had good luck with it in the 28 Nosler. Tighter ES then Retumbo and I was able to get slightly higher velocity also. I backed it off to 3160 (shooting 180 hybrids) because that's where the best accuracy was. I would have to look at my notes and see where I hit pressure but I remember it was a higher charge then Retumbo. It seems to be a great powder for the 180's, I have no idea about the 195's because I never played with them in this rifle.

Does anyone have any experience with the 8133 and 338 edge and or the 338 lapua, I've been using RL 33 and it's been great, I am wondering how this stuff will stack up?

Tom

Just based on Hodgdons load info I'm pretty sure I'll need to grab a pound. Going to be rebarreling the win mag this winter and I think I'll need to at least try it with a 215.
