Regarding the human/rifle interface, I am looking for THE best book out there. They may be fundamentals, but a person could get a Ph.D. on any one of the fundamentals. I am looking on a book that gives a very deep treatment on the art of marksmanship.

Please give your reasons why you think your favorite book is THE best!

Thank you all in advance!

Still looking for a book after 2+ years? Did you find any during that time?

No books. I did read a current military manual/publication while I was on my Navy Reserve Annual Training last summer. I have certainly endeavored to learn and grow in marksmanship, but I am convinced that books are a much neglected art to the detriment of our society. But I am glad to see people put some suggestions forward! Thank you!

For the prone position and a good dose of marksmanship fundementals I liked thr Rifles Only DVD #1

I have the Hicks book and believe there are a lot of errors in it.
