Shot a black bear last fall at 530 yards with a 325 gr 338 cal Chinchaga RBT bullet, performance was spectacular , bullet opened up on impact but held together and plowed through ending up in the swamp muck somewhere with bears inner organ parts and pieces strewn across the turf,
a week later I dropped a nice bull moose with a 325 gr 338 cal Chinchaga bullet at 480 yards and it was instant death with same results, shot the bull square in the shoulder and it punched completely through breaking leg bones and ribs on both sides, shot was high and missed the heart but both lungs were shredded and all connecters of inner organs were disconnected and blood soup, neither animal went anywhere, no tracking, no blood trail to follow, just pull up on atv and pack it out
haven't shot any game with the 375 cal bullets yet but have reason to believe they will perform just as good if not better, should be phenomenal bullets for stopping brown bear in their tracks, I wouldn't hesitate to face off with a griz loaded up with Chinchaga RBT 375 cal bullets
neither of the shots were at long range but both showed quick bullet upset indicating that the big tip works for immediate bullet expansion, even though the distance was similar, the two shots were completely different on impact but performed admirably in both instances, soft tissue hit with vitals obliterated and decent entrance and exit holes for massive blood trauma, and a direct shoulder bone hit on impact and exit with similar results , along with that the bullets are extremely accurate and provided me with some of the lowest sd and es I have ever seen to date,
bc's are fairly decent for long range hunting, not the highest out there but all the bc chasing will not offer better big game animal killing performance in my opinion
like a High BC 250 grain .308 bullet.?
