Anyone in Texas?

A little swerve in the thread, but still in Texas. I'm looking to go hog hunting within a couple hours from Dallas. I see folks on Craigslist offering access to land for $150. Anyone have any experience with any of those people? I don't have thermal optics.
I have not used any, but I am curious if that 150.00 is for a day, month or year? Since it has turned hot, finding them will require dogs or hunting at night.

$150/day. If you don't own land, it seems like you have to pay down here. I've been told that they are not scared by green light so I picked up one of those green flashlights that mount on your scope. I'd be open to linking up with someone from LHR for an outing.

Not to try and burst your bubble, but are they just turning you loose on the property to find them or do they have them patterned? The reason I ask, I had a big black boar coming into my property about three times a week sometimes four times, during summer I had him on camera anywhere from 1:00am to 03:00am, but you never knew which day. Then winter hit and the earliest he came in was 09:00pm, I had him pegged at one point for two weeks in February coming in every other day at the same time, but he quit after two weeks and hit it sporadic. I never got a shot on him, the reason I am telling you this is to let you know before spending 150.00. Hopefully, they have them Feeder trained and patterned to make it worth 150.00.

I'm also down south of Burleson. I've shot at ETTS before, and at Triple C a couple times.
ETTS membership is $600 a year , Triple C's is $1200 a year. Both are nice places to go shoot, but Triple C does offer more for the shooter to do.

I live in North Dallas as well. I would also be interested in a shoot day to get to interact with some of the local forum members.

I'm in Weatherford and offer a day class at a local range that has targets out to 2000yds. Will get data on all shots fired for the day and as long as you and your rifle are competent will guarantee to get you to 1000yds and hopefully beyond. You can reach me 817-964-0928 if your interested
I'll be calling you in a few days, I'm over in Farmers Branch

Have you shot at Gray Smoke Range in Weatherford? Looks like they have a 300 and 460 yard range. Trying to find some longer ranges around North Texas.
Try TripleC in Cresson. Several lanes out to 1000 yards. Plus 4 lanes out to 2000. They will be hosting a national event in Jan'18, I believe. Have a Long Range match the last weekend of most months. Mostly 3 gun events.
