Wyoming draw results

In my immediate family, father, wife, sisters, nieces and nephews, and one cousin, we have 21 pronghorn tags this year alone to fill counting doe/fawn. All of us except my father drew two doe/fawn tags and a buck tag. I love living in this state ha ha
I must have the worst luck ever or not understand Wyoming's system. Congrats, go slay some speed goats.

Congrats to all hope everyone has a awesome season and a wonderful time. Don't forget to post pictures

I got a Whitetail tag for area 59. I thought that I was applying for mule deer. Not really all that excited because I can hunt whitetail in PA.

We drew Region A tags for Whitetail/Mule-deer. Super excited to go back. This will be my fourth trip since 2009. We hunt outside of Hulett.

That's a good unit. Big country.
Don't know a lot about it but I'm going with a guy that lived in Riverton for most of a lot of his life. I also talked to the Mule Deer Bioligist before I drew and she spoke highly of it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I've waited 10 plus years for this hunt.(even though it's probably not worth 10 points)

I need another tag to fail on every year. What unit should I put in for deer in Wyoming?

There aren't that many choices for you after the draw yesterday for mule deer tags. Look up the leftover list on the G&F website and you have 5 days to apply next week for the second draw. There are a lot of units if you want to go for a whitetail tag though.

Too bad with that many points that you didn't put in for Region G and get a tag for that hunt, as it's the best there is right now in Wyoming. Unit 34 is decent, but not worth the 10 PPs you burned on it just like you stated yourself. I hope you have a good hunt and get one of the few really big bucks that are in that unit. You should at least kill a decent buck there if you hunt hard the whole time and do a lot of glassing, especially the last few days of the season when the better bucks start moving in daylight hours as they start getting a little rutty.

Yeah I meant for next year. I hunt mule deer every year so a unit with whitetail near on the west side of Wyoming would be best.

Living in Wyoming I hunt a general tag for muleys. I havent shot a white tail since about 1959 or so. Odd. I live in the NE part of the state. Just across the state line in SD there are tons fo White tails but then never seem to want to cross over onto my property.

My wife never shot a white tail, she wants to try one too.

I'll have to cross Hwy 16 to hunt the late season. We each drew a Buck/Doe antelope in area 7 (1-15 Oct) and I got stunked so only got a Cow Elk tag for Area 38 which also starts the 1 Oct. Area 7 is a gimmy so I can get my goats on the 1st and head for the Big Horns on the 2nd.

Zero tags drawn for this Non-resident guy.... brother drew , Elk ,deer and Antelope... although is does live there.
Excited to here of his adventures.
