**** Dana... You have a much bigger platform than I, but you are speaking my EXACT points. That's good others with a MUCH louder and farther-reaching voice see exactly what I see, and are speaking out about it.

The entire reason the left has been in panic-mode about taking guns and **** after Parkland, and having the kids do their dirty work, is because everyone is scrambling to cover up the facts that the BCSO and Obama/Democrat policies allowed this incident to happen. They're screaming so loud, they're now showing their own guilt for allowing it happen, but still trying to blame guns and law-abiding citizens. The left's entire M.O. is to blame the right on exactly what they themselves are guilty of.

It's hard to believe, that we live in a place, and time, that when ever these tragedies happen, they want to take away all the guns,make them illegal, and treat anyone who does own a gun like a second class citizen.
But, if a madman, note wording, drives a dodge, into a building, or crowd, nobody goes after dodge!
The same thing caused each to happen, MENTAL ILLNESSES!
Makes you wonder WHOM the real crazies are!

Excellent! Do the schools there have their own police force or are they "loaned out" (like me) from a nearby agency?

This seems like a simple answer to me. Our military is there to protect us from terrorist. We have a very large military. Post 3 marines with gear at each school and tell them to eliminate any threats with prejudice. School shootings would stop over night. There is no better use of our military than to protect our children. Cancel all federal aid to any school or state who say no.

She didn't seem particularly persuasive to me. Her talking points are fine but what does she add to the conversation that has not been said?

exactly. Those of us who have not just a moral and philosophical interest - but also a tangible economic one - in the war for protection of our Constitutional rights are on exactly the same page as Dana. Leftist activists and trolls hate her though. They describe her as unconvincing and try to claim that she adds nothing new to the anti-gun conversation (as seen through their own biases). Personally, I feel that most leftists should stick with their rainbow flags and parades rather than trying to elbow in on the gun conversation as their cause du jure, but hey. Free country I guess.

Well, seeing as to how our Founding Fathers had the forethought to add that little "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" clause to the end of the 2nd Amendment, there is nothing new to add, nor will there ever be. It is what it is, and it says what it means. And if you want to get technical, then EVERY single gun law on the books is completely illegal, and treasonous, according the 2nd Amendment. And that's how it should be.

I'm what you call a Constitutionalist Conservative. The only laws I see fit for mankind are the laws of God, morality, and as a U.S. citizen, the U.S. Constitution. Anything else is made-up ******** to keep us all under the government's thumb. Do I abide by all the ******** laws? Of course I do, because I like to enjoy exercising what few rights we all have left. If you don't exercise a right, or fight for it, before you know it, it's gone forever. Things like that don't just come back.
