First precision optic shv or lrp

Brad keep in mind that they don't offer an illuminated reticle (ZMOAi) yet in the V6 and to me the extra 6x (24 vs 30) isn't worth the increased in $700 (and still not getting illumination). If you are on AD shoot me a PM.
The glass and lens coatings are upgraded from the V4 to the V6 line as well...So that's more where the price increase comes from, more-so than the extra 6x magnification.

While I am 'contractually prohibited' from sharing the details, I signed up for the 'Experticity' service online and Zeiss has a significant discount on their products available... Seriously significant. I recommend anyone look into it if you are considering one of their products.

Got a link? This has me intrigued... If I can get Zeiss scopes at seriously significant discounts, then you can count me in.

Coatings are the same- LotuTEC and T* but it looks like the V6 gets Schott FL glass, at least according to the manuals. Not sure why no illuminated option.

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I've settled on a vx5 3-15x56. I'll be picking one up soon. Can't wait for the mcmillan to get here and start load development! Thanks again to all

Sounds like a might've missed the discussion but I was in the same position as you just last week. I was initially torn between the SHV and the VX5. I already own an SHV and have owned many VX3s and shot a VX6. After doing a bit more research, I went and ordered a Bushnell LRSHi. Something to consider before you buy.
