Berger 140 Target vs Elite Hunters

Getting a 6.5 SAUM. Wondering about the difference in these bullets. My understanding is the target hybrids are a thicker jacket, correct? I'm planning to shoot steel AND hunt with this rig. You think they would be interchangeable? Or should I only work up loads with the elite hunters? Would the target Hybrids be fine for hunting like the 30 cal 215's? I know they have a long and proven record on game.

Why find out the hard way? Go with the Elite Hunters.

They're so hard to find, I was wondering ahead of time in case I can only get one or the other.

Given the reputation of the 215 target hybrid on game, my level of concern for using the same style of bullet in 6.5mm in a hunting situation would be low.

Matter of fact, I use the 130 gr AR Hybrid OTM Tactical in my 260 for both targets and deer killing.

You could ask the numerous deer I have taken with 140 Hybrids, but as I have said...TAKEN. Boom and down.
