Calculating BC with LabRadar. It works!

Thanks. Good to know.
Let us know how the App works after you've run it thru the ropes?

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 tablet with Android OS. Cost $100 on Amazon. Has Bluetooth & WiFi. Supposed to have good battery life and reliable operation. Guess I'll find out...

The email i received from LabRadar stated the Apple iOS will be available at the App Store within the next few days.

Yes, I saw that also. My smart phone is a Windows Phone having their operating system. So I needed an Android or Apple OS with Bluetooth.

I see that the LabRadar is selling for $510 shipped...will this upgrade (bluetooth) work with the current (labRadar) models with an Ipad?

TIA

I would think so. Ipads have Bluetooth 4.0, so I'd think it would work with the Apple App that LabRadar is supposed to make available - any day now. I'm not a techie expert. Maybe another member will confirm this.

This afternoon I set my LabRadar up on my phone but have come across a little dilemma. The LabRadar is set to read in fps but the phone will only show meters per second. I guess this is because here in New Zealand we use the metric system. This suggests to me that if you lived in one of the northern States and took you LabRadar with you into Canada your phone would all of a sudden read in m/s rather than fps. I will send an email to LabRadar to see if there is some way to change the phone setting.

Bigdad, Thank you for the advise it worked like a charm. I had tried pushing and sliding other items on the screen but hadn't tried the LabRadar icon. All I had managed to do was set up a new series. The day they bring out a rifle with a touch screen on it will be the day I give up shooting. :)

Got my Samsung tablet up and running with my LabRadar.
Very nice. Much easier to program the LabRadar using the Bluetooth App than without.
Arming the unit is a snap. Now that their Bluetooth App is available, I can recommend the LabRadar to those that have been sitting on the fence. The Bluetooth App makes all the difference. It's a winner now.

Second day of using my new Labradar and wondering about a few things.

If I'm shooting with more than one rifle or load it would be awesome to put each load into a string. How the hell do I change strings to record shots? The BT remote system changes the string you are looking at, but not the string shots are recorded on.

I can't for the life of me work out how to do it with the back of the radar at all (and I could work a Chrony no problems).
