That is great news!!! Hopefully the export fees for gun related items will be lifted as well. Would be great for small companies like ours to be able to sell to our friends around the world that would like to try products that would be available if it were not for the export tax on firearms related products. No customs issues only the punitive tax to our Gov just because the product is firearm related.
If I understand the ITAR correctly, the stopping of the program as it is, will alleviate the $2250 annual fee and also the $2250 per export fee. Would free us up to do business internationally just like any other product based business. Can't wait to be able to send bullets to our friends in Canada as well as others.

Interesting that when we were in South Africa they have a heck of a time getting rifles but suppressors are no problem. Cheap and over the counter.
Used a suppressed 270 on a night hunt for jackal. I really want one now!

If it was easier and less expensive I would have suppressors on all my rifles that are threaded for it so I can hear when I get old!
I've got two on lay-away (SOS Hunter) from Rebel Silencers. Real unique system too and the cost is very affordable. Last time I seen their price they $275.00 for a thread on .30 caliber can. They have them on sale regularly.

Supressors in many parts of eurpoe are mandatory for sound polution. They must fall over laughing at the sheer stupidy of our guberment restricting them based on hollywood movies thinking their family would be shot dead in the next room or right nex tot them while they sleep. You should go look up the minutes and records of the sheer utter bs that was used to restrict them. Consider auto opening knives two pieces of wood connected by rope.
Its so much utter idiocy when everytime a criminal, which by defintion is someone that does not follow the law, does something illegal, our idiots in office respond by making more restrictive laws that again are something criminals do not and will not by definition follow. Thus the only ones restricted are those that follow the laws and were not the threat to begin with. We have lawyers and their industry to that for it.

But none of this is about public saftey or the childern but all about ensuring and increasing power and control.
