Anyone in Texas?

Southwest side of Houston in Richmond.

I shoot at a private range in El Campo out to 300. It's limited but is a great range where you can many times have it to yourself. I also shoot on occasion to 600 at American Shooting Center. I just joined Bayou Rifles which goes to 1000 but work has kept me away from all 3 as of late.

Planning on a 300 yard ladder very soon with my 65x284.
50 years ago, Bayou Rifles range was at Addicks. Where is it now?

There's Tac Pro about 65 miles west of Fort Worth near the town of Mingus. 1000 yard range available to members and their guests. Get your shoot on then head to Mary's Cafe in Strawn for one of the top 5 chicken fried steaks I've ever had.

I work in Fort Worth and live in Keller.

Nothing like the Down Town Danny Brown at Mary's! One of a kind. I am in Southlake.

In DFW. Recommend TripleC Range in Cresson, south of Weatherford. They will be hosting the PRS championships in December '18.

They have a local match the last weekend of each month.

Several lanes to 1000 yards and several out beyond.

Have you been there? If so how far out do they have steel targets and do you need a membership?

I'm in Weatherford and offer a day class at a local range that has targets out to 2000yds. Will get data on all shots fired for the day and as long as you and your rifle are competent will guarantee to get you to 1000yds and hopefully beyond. You can reach me 817-964-0928 if your interested

North Dallas. Thanks for all the tips on where to go for LR, guys!

Elm Fork range in Dallas is very nice but only goes to 100 yards for rifles.

Gibson Range is is a good one out in Mesquite, goes to 200.

Lonestar in Mesquite was great while it lasted, with berms at every 100 yards out to 600, but due to a law suit by neighbors has closed down for the last 9 months. They keep saying they're going to reopen after complying with a legal agreement to put up fences and redesign their ranges so no stray bullets can go anywhere off their property, but their remedial redesign of their ranges looks pretty lame at this point. They charged a yearly membership rate and most members who bought in are feeling pretty ripped off right now. (Me being one of them.) So stay away from Lonestar for now (yes, they're STILL selling memberships).
