What would you do?

You like the tikkas. Get his and hers T3x TAC A1's in 6mm or 6.5 creedmoor and go shoot in the prs production class. It's fun dynamic and will instantly show where your abilities need to be worked on. You get to plan for a trip every 2 weeks if you want The 6 and 6.5 are competitive with the excellent factory match ammo. The time constraints will teach you how to get into position settle your breathing and make the shot even in less than optimum positions. What better practice for hunting than that?
Plus you get to buy new guns because of a need not a want:cool:

Given that you don't reload, you're spending a lot of money on factory ammo. I'd spend money in a good reloading setup first and learn how to tune your own ammo to your rifles to get the best performance. From there, I'd go get good glass, then once you've shot the barrel out, start playing with the rifle components on a replacement/rebuild.

My apologies. I didn't know I would need to be super specific. At some point in life your legs probably won't carry you as far as they used to so if you like to get out and do any type of physical hunting there is a time limit on most people. On the other hand I can drive right up to the range where I shoot and get out of my truck and be shooting.

At 83 I'm well aware of what your saying, but that said my present age and condition hasent affected my long preferred hunting method.
 
I have some buddies in Florida and they use Pit Bulls. Well hounds first and
then the Bulldogs for hogs. I saw a 50 pound brindle dog pin a 300 pound boar
flat to the ground. J.J. killed it with a Tanto I made him!

I winter in Florida but fish in S Jersey in the summer. Here is the boat.

Me and my wife are going to Gator Hunt in September not sure how you spell it but on Okachobee. Are they anywhere close to there and would that take us pig hunting. If yes how much?Or Maybe they would like to come to Wisconsin to Walleye fish?

I love saltwater... Nothing like hooking into something that fights like a demon, pulls like a dump truck, and has teeth like a dragon! Some of my favorites to catch are Goliath Groupers and Amberjacks. Bull Reds are fun, too! Caught one of those back in 2003 that went 50" with a 36" girth, and if I had caught it the week before, would have won me $25,000... Just my luck... Almost wish the deckhands would have never said that...:mad:
