How did you find us here at LRH.com?

Our 5th anniversary is coming up on April 11, 2006. I think we should have Dave King think up some really wierd festivities to mark the occasion. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This has always been a "go to" site for top notch information on shooting and hunting. For years if I had a question and typed it in google this site had a thread on it!

I'm new to the long range game after years of western hunting and frustration with yardage limitations. I set out to find ways to improve/increase my effective range. Internet searches brought me here. What a wealth of information and knowledge. (And increase in my gun and accessories budget LOL).
Thanks for a great place to learn.

You bet! I agree. Very serious and dedicated shooters. Used to have a Colt Python Hunter for "woodchuck bustin". Don't know why I quit that,. But now want to learn about 'yotes and hogs. Seems like plenty of fun opportunity there. Well, last year we moved to Virginia. I understand there's no Hogs here. Bummer!

Racer00 - I used to think long range was 300 meters until I came across LRH and read some of the hunt experiences. Naive boy I guess. It just exposed how much I don't know, which is a good thing. Because of where I live now, I'm still limited on range. However a lot of hunting and shooting techniques apply. A lot of the Gents on this website have forgotten more than I'll ever know! Good luck in your pursuit!

I was just investigating a 30 Nosler for purchase and came across a link to your site. You've got some great information here so I signed up. I'm always looking to expand my knowledge

I was looking for a good load for my 7mm Rem. Mag when this site popped up. I had come up with the IMR 7828 powder with a cci 250 primer and using a 160gr Nosler Accubond bullet. I was looking to see if I was on the right track. I have also just picked up a Sheperd Scope 6x18x40 to help me reach out and touch my game. I have been hunting for 45+ years and this is the first time that I have tried to improve my game. I still run the same load in my .o6 that I have since day one and always will. It has proven to be reliable.

I was looking for more info on long range rifle shooting and parts for my present build. I came across the website and decided I needed to join. I see a lot of good info posted. My present build has started with a Big Hron SA action with a Proof Research barrel. Researching now for the perfect stock. Thanks
