Berger bullet question

Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less.
If you only actually knew me... I just spent over 9 months helping a friend build an entire house (other than foundation and framing), after work hours, with NO income coming in (for me) and burning my own fuel almost daily to drive there, and never once asked for one red penny. I did it to help a friend and his family who were short on cash and needed the help to finish the house. I've traveled all the way to San Lorenzo, CA (on my dime) to help a congregation of church-goers whose old church building from the 1800's was in dire need of repairs...For free. I've been to the dangerous shithole Juarez, MX (also on my own dime) to build an entire house from the dirt up for a random family in need that I've never met. No pay. The mixer broke, and I had to turn the mixer by-hand to mix up the last half of the slab.

Do I go around tooting my own horn? No. And did I mention any of that for any type of "pat on the back"? NOPE! But don't tell me I have no humility and don't put others before myself until you actually know me.

And for the record, do I help folks on here for recognition? NO! I do it to give-back to the community that helped me so much all those years ago. And if someone doesn't like me helping other people I don't even know out when they need it, then they have bigger problems than worrying about my level of humility.

You just proved exactly the point I was trying to make. Anyways, my sincere apologies to the OP for being side tracked and thanks for Corey Schwanz for the clarification. Let's move on forward shall we ...

Some people want recognition for their accomplishments, but are quick to call someone full of crap when they don't agree or fail to research.
They make it about them, and why they deserve something because they complain enough. I agree with Ed's humility quote.

I'm hoping the buyout helps Berger. I'm a big fan of their bullets but have been frustrated with the more then expected dimensional changes that have occurred over the years. I have always kept a supply of a particular lot of bullets for each rifle/load. It appears that, at least with the 6.5's, that the bullets have gotten shorter with changes in Base to Ogive over the past 5+ years. The 140 HVLD's used to tun 1.41" overall bullet length with a BC of .313. Now they are running 1.37" with a lower BC, .307. I understand the length variation, but it's nowhere close to where it once was. The same holds true for the more recent 130 Tactical Hybrids which are running .030" shorter then the original lots. For long range precision shooting I have found these inconsistencies to be problematic. I don't buy the excuse of machinery variations. This wasn't the case a few years ago. Lot to lot consistency was much better in the past. I have really noticed this with the recent shortages as I'm dipping into old stocks of bullets to meet my current load needs.
