Ruger is matching donations to the NRA

Why not go for a better organization like GOA?

I'm not trying to be a smart *** Rich . what is GOA doing ? what is the NRA not doing ? I used to get an email from GOA , I think his name was Dudley . I haven'y heard anything from for awhile now , but I haven't look for their website either .

just a week or so ago I upgraded my NRA membership from patron to benefactor . I don't have the knowledge , money, or time , to be able to fight for my gun rights . so I feel I hire the NRA to do that for me . the NRA does have a large voice . for about $40 a year , a gun owner really should belong to one of these gun groups .

I get more enter to win crap from GOA than I should. Why not take the money that the damm barret costs and put that into something worthwhile. NRA isn't perfect by along stretch. They do however wield a bigger sword and take alot more of the heat which costs alot more money. I would rather donate to the NRA over GOA if I make just one donation because of this. I however spend plenty of money with the NRA being an instructor. I donate some money to Dudley and they do very good work. In the eyes of politicians NRA carries weight. Whereas the others that can do alot of tip of the spear issues with immediacy due to not having that huge footprint slowing them down.
