Berger 2018 Catalog - 338 329GR EOL

whats really awesome is the fact that they have let the stores retailers run out of the already produced and favorite bullets during this long over due move from comi land so these new offerings will be, well lets just say a while out i would imagine due to the fact hey will have to replenish whats already working and needing put back on shelves before they tool for the new stuff> IMO DONT EXPECT ANYHTING NEW FOR QUITE A WHILE

Also on a side note the 329 and 245 and 156 will likely keep the sleek profile and long nose that the newer versions of berger bullets are known for, and i would bet money the bearing surface wont be much longer. Many have tried this approach and no..... making it longer does not increase the BC.

Still better than Nosler, who just decides not to produce stuff for months or years at a time.

I talked to them on the phone, I was trying to get some dimensions on the 156 EOL so I could throat a new build I'm putting together, and they said they will have a better idea around late spring to early summer, May-ish. Not sure if that translates to the 329 as well, just what I heard from them.

I don't think it does, the 156 is listed as in testing, 308 and 338 bullets aren't listed in the line up at all just advertised as coming 2018

I'm going to build a 338 Lapua Imp just to shoot the 329! Those 3 bullits have been on the drawing board for a couple years! The 155-6 has had testing in 6.5x284 and 26 Nosler! It will be a laser in the Nosler with better barrel life hopefully! I have a Super accurate MOA Carbon in 300RUM just waiting to test the "245" EOL in! MOA will build the 338 lapua AI for me.
My Thanks to Bob & Chris Beck and their crew for building great products for the long range hunter!
Their ability to work with companies like Berger is terrific.

I concur. I purchased a 7.5 twist barrel specifically for the 156, will be chambered in .264 win mag. Can't wait for the bullet to come out. And have a 338 Norma being built now, though it will probably shoot the 300 grain. But I will certainly try the 329

Guess I need to burn up my .300RUM 1:10" Rock Creek pushing the 230 Hybrids so I can rebarrel to push the new 245...
