I will add this: If there are multiple baffles with vents to the outside between the muzzle and the baffle through which the bullet passes the brake will be very effective. It will be like a thick wall brake.

I found their web page. I had a Terminator 3 and sold it when I disassembled my 6.5RUMLN but still have a Terminator 2 on my 6.5SLR. I could see impacts at distance like 300 yards or more.

Since I've played with lots of brakes I can tell you from looking at the photos on their sight the Terminator 2 wouldn't stand a chance against any of their brakes. The Terminator 3 might be better than most are used to but I bet APS Pain Killer is better. I'm going to make one from aluminum to compare in my recoil slide. I don't know what angle he uses so I will go with 15* - 20*. That's what I can get in my mill/drill.

It says right on his site he uses 30 degrees. The guy from Terminator products has already tested his brakes against the Pain Killer brakes on a 375 Cheytac Imp and 338 Lapua. The T2 did the same as a Pain Killer 3 port despite the massive width of the PK slabbed brake on a 338 Lapua and the T3 did better. Bigger doesn't always mean better and more expensive really doesn't translate into better. You'll never really know how the original does by trying to copy it rather than buying it.

I'll know first hand when I get my slabbed brakes done if they are better then a round brake with the same port. My feeling is there is no difference because the gas departs the muzzle at a certain max angle and with steep enough ports the gas is already redirected without the need of additional width. Either way in under a month I'll know.

For a light taper barrel, I have an APA Micro Bastard brake on a #3 Bartlein in 7RM. My 14 year old daughter can shoot it very comfortably, it does not kick sand or rocks in your face when shooting prone, and it looks pretty good too.
