$14,000 rifle?

I can't afford a 470 NE Double gun either. It won't kill a Buffalo any deader that my old 458 win mag but I sure would like to have one. To each their own

I appreciate the fact they build great rifles and support an industry I truly enjoy but 14k for that rifle is ridiculous IMO. My smith sent me the link last night captioned "I'm not charging you enough!". Even though he was kidding, it stands to reason things like this have real potential to drive costs up for the rest of us.
I'm guessing their target customer has plenty of money and doesn't want to worry about any of the details when shooting LR. Just buy it, dial and shoot and oh by the way here's the ammo that you need...

Nah, not for me. I've enjoyed the journey of learning what it takes to make rifles work and knowing the details necessary to have one capable of consistently hitting things waaaay out there.

You can't buy the details, you have to learn them. No such thing as buy, dial, and shoot when it comes to LR .
Point being, someone with the experience and knowledge to consistently hit targets at 1000+ will shoot better at 1000+ will a sps 700 rem out of the box than a newbie will with that 14K rifle.
It's nice that there are things that money can't buy.

I am building one fairly similar to that. I am at $6500 right now, with another $1300 to go in smith fees and minor parts still. Making it $8K+/- all in. With 200 pieces of new Lapua 6.5CM small primer brass, 500 @ 110 SMKs, powder and dies.

Lone Peak Arms Fuzion TI SA DBM
22" Proof Sendero 6mm 1:7.5" chambered in 6CM
Manners PRS2 in Tac Swamp
Muscle brake
TacOps carbon fiber bolt knob
McMillan DBM & 3 AI mags (2 @ 5rd, 1 @ 10rd)
Trigger Tech Diamond
Seekins 30mm Medium alloy rings
March F1 3-24x52 FFP MIL w. illuminated FML-1
Cerakote color TBD

Should finish right around 10-10.5#.

I don't see a need for 1500 rounds, as the barrel will be toast about that time. I guess if you don't reload?

And no 1 day class at Gunwerks either....

morning, mudrunner summed up the cost of the rifle corrected.
AGRreed. see the spelling. Joel Larusso I think this the
correct spelling and pronunciation r worth every cent
of cost. I personally did not like wood, but the wood work
is beyond praise. just me GBOT TUM

Is that 1500 rounds at one time or will they adjust the load as needed? I've never gone from unfired gun to 1500 rounds through the barrel without adjusting the load.
