Load or shooter?

Well probably not the RL26 then. Do you find yourself refocusing the parallax or anything during the groups? When I am really trying to shoot good groups. I put a long piece of thin cardboard on top of the barrel with double sided tape. I stops heat waves from the barrel affecting the scope image. Barrel heat can cause mirage that looks like your scope is outta focus.
I don't touch anything other than adjust the rear bag for the sake of consistency. I like the cardboard idea. But today it wasn't an issue as it was 35°f and I didn't shoot about it to get much of a mirage

Maybe try videoing yourself shooting. Set it up off to the side and slightly in front of you so you can see your trigger hand, cheek position, eyes, etc. This has helped me before.
I use that method when I'm shooting my 7mm. I have a tendency to flinch with that rifle so I video myself to see if and when i do it. I'll give that a try

I'll give that a try. It just really irks me that I've potentially got a bug hole gun but my shooting skills aren't up to the task. In case anyone is wondering I'm shooting prone off my deck with a Caldwell Rock BR rest and a rear bag. I really appreciate everyone's help

I think your skills are very much up to the task, Just keep pulling that trigger

That 5th one is always the hardest for me. Guess I'm just trying to make that last one happen too hard and end up jerking the trigger just a bit or something. In the end I guess it's just how repeatable both the ammo and you are.

yup last time I shot my 270 win build before i took the good parts and threw them on my edge build i shot a 3 shot bug hole and then went for 4 and 5th and I know i pulled the last 2 shots because i was so excited.
