7mm STW Brotherhood - For those who shoot the 7mm Shooting Times Westerner

I'll bet she'll be just fine. If I ever need something done, i know where it's going. No doubt I speak for a few on that matter.
Glad you guys had a great time.
Let the sevens roar!
Yeah rose is keeping her warm. But he loves his AR -15 for those pigs. Man we drove around and it was like a rolling gun safe based on what car he was driving. Hilarious!!!

Out of the blue here.Does lengthening out your bullets always tighten up your groups? My STW is shooting sub 1/2 moa now at 100yards.Is it worth fiddling with?

Let her ride, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. . That sounds like a well balanced load, 1/2 group, is very respectable, @ 100.
Wouldn't bee surprised at all if it was the same at 200.
Enjoy!

7stw, butterbean, dougduey thanks for all your help. I took a look at the Hammer Bullets website and have a couple questions I thought you all may be able to help with. My Remington is either a 1-9 1/4" or 1-9 1/2" twist. I checked multiple times and am leaning towards 9 1/2" more. The hammer site says according to my twist rate I should be running their 131gr. What twist rate and bullet weight have you all found to be a good match.

140 to 168's but the 140's always worked best for me so I would say the 131 would be just fine

Thanks guys,I got the gun for a really good deal,it's a semi custom job, shooting the 175 gr ABLR over H1000.Its doing an average of 3150fps.So I guess it's onto the next rifle.
