New Origin Action

Ran across this the other day. Looks nice for a heck of a price. Price was even better when it was first introduced, 750 bucks...ended 1/31. I've got a brand new short action mcs-t inletted for a stiller tac 30 but thinking about one of these instead. Says they have a 700 footprint, as does the tac30 so it should be just fine with maybe a minor cosmetic difference in the ejection port on the stock which doesn't bother me. Only other thing I can see is the bolt handle looks like it is swept harder than the stiller, but again, both the stiller and origin are made to fit in 700 stocks. Has anyone put down the deposit on one of these? Looks like they are expecting to ship the first ones around mid August.

Glad you posted this. I have been debating on weather to get a Remington action and have it blueprinted or just go with a custom action. At the price of these new origin actions they are going to be hard to beat. Maybe I will put a deposit down on one of these.

Thanks for posting the link! Just realized I didn't.

I put a deposit down on one back in February. Waiting to see how it turns out. Was initialing going to order a TL3 until I ran across the origin so going to give it a try.

I pre-ordered 2 nucleus's the day before the origin was announced. Luckily there should be enough time between the two releases to re-coup my gun fund, so put down the deposit on an origin to try out as well.
