Bbl length on that is 23". Prone shots handle great. They are a great stock for shorter bbls.
I was looking at your creedmoor that was in the McMillan stock with 21 1/4" proof barrel. Is the grip on the eh4 quite a bit more vertical than a standard sporter stock?

Yes it is quite a bit more vertical. They really are a great feeling stock. I would have rather ran an EH4 on my light weight creedmoor but the McMillian was in the weight range I was looking for. The McMillian is 22 ounces and the manners EH4 are 27-28 but I have seen a few come in at 29

I would of thought they would be lighter than that. Doesn't seem much lighter than an eh2. I would prefer an eh2 but I want to use a proof barrel.

That's the one issue with manners. I've ordered several of their stocks and all different models and all of them have came in several ounces over advertised weight. An EH2 will work with a proof but you'll just end up with a thinner edge. It has been no problem with the McMillian Hunters edge on my creed.

Yes that would be the issue. But in my opinion carbon fiber is pretty darn strong. You'd have to whack it pretty hard on something to chip the edge
