That's good to know. Have you compared them to the MBM brakes?
I emailed MBM today and he's working on a Titanium brake to fit the larger Sendero muzzles. I'd like to know more details on the performance of specific models of MBM brakes vs. specific Painkiller brakes if anyone has experience with these.

After reading an review article on brakes in The Precision Rifle Blog I ordered one of the top performers, the "Little Bastard" brake, for my 6.5 CM Ruger Precision Rifle.

It worked as Cal on the PRB said and changed the POI only a little vertically but definitely reduced recoil enough to let me stay on target in competition so I could see my hits and misses. I would recommend this brake to anyone and am getting another one for my .300 Win mag. target rifle.

I have two MBM brakes . one on a 300 wby , the other on a 338 lapua . I'm well pleased with both brakes . when I need another brake it will be from MBM . the 338 brake is a 4 port beast . the brake on my 300 is an older design 4 port with top holes . I have no experience with the painkiller brake . MBM has a few videos on the website comparing his brakes against other brakes .
here's a couple pics .
the SS bbl is .935" dia , with a 1" beast brake .
the blued bbl is .555" dia , with a .750" old design brake

jimbires, That 1 inch beast brake looks good with the angled ports. How does it control the muzzle jump?

this rifle is about 16 - 17 lbs , with a 30"bbl . I'm shooting 300 gr bergers @ 2930FPS . the brake works good , I notice no jump off a harris bipod .

I like others have not used both, so I can not give personal comparison. The only way I will experience others if if they come on a customer rifle or if we build a rifle that the customer requests a particular brake. So far I have not experienced a brake as effective as the PK.

The PK brakes have an unusual thread of 5/8-28 instead of the much more common 5/8-24. That alone makes it difficult (almost impossible) to compare the PK brakes with other brakes on any particular gun. I guess that also makes it difficult or impossible for reviewers to do a comparison. I wonder if PK would make their brakes with 24 TPI.

Yes I did! Now I am a few lbs on the upside. I am having a cup of coffee now too! Great stuff. I have your package ready to get out today. Thinking I need to find some uniquely MT packing material to keep your bullets safe for the long trip.

I have one of the 5 port Muscle brakes on my Snipetac. If it's bad at reducing recoil then I don't know what I'm missing. So far I've been happy with it, but then again the only thing I've compared it to is no brake.

I have one of your 2 piece self timing brakes on my sporter weight .338 RUM, it definitely works! Especially compared to nothing at all.

I had a 3 port muscle brake on my 28 Nosler. I thought it worked great. The only thing I can compare it to was an original 4 port MOM with top ports on a Lazzeroni Warbird. I thought both brakes worked well. I wish I had more to compare to

Some recoil reduction feels nice. Real recoil reduction is amazing.

Good point Steve, I wish someone would do some real testing with no stake in the companies producing these brakes. A few rifles, all the highly touted brakes. Caliber specific. It would be expensive and time consuming.
