I was asked to post a pic of all the Sherman designs based on the 270 and Saum cases so here it is.

Still wanting to punch my .30-06 AI to .300 Sherman... But thinking I might eventually just keep the .30-06 AI 1:12" twist barrel around (since it's less than a couple-hundred rounds down it) and pickup a 26" PR CF blank in 1:8 twist and build a .280 Sherman on that action for lightweight whitetail hunting with the new Berger 175 Elite Hunters.

elkaholic is there anywhere that explains these cartridges? A website maybe? I found info on the 7 SS but not on the others. I would be curious how the 280 Sherman compares to a 280 Ackley. I have a 280 Ackley barrel on the way and I am stoked to have buyers remorse after hearing about your design, lol. Also curious about the 6 SS as I love super fast 6mm rifles.

I apologize that it isn't in one place, but I am working on it and there will be a website very soon.
I will also have some basic load data for each.
You can still turn your A.U. unto a Sherman if you want. We usually use an A.I. reamer and then clean it up with a Sherman anyway.
