the B&C website says the medalists are approx 2.5lbs for tactical style and 2lbs for hunting sporter this is the m40 style

Well...maybe you need it for a loaner rifle...or a kids trainer...has adjustable moa turrets with covers...I am a leupold, hunting rifle man...might even get rid of a couple rifles myself....
The 7rum might be on that list..burns a lot of powder...shoots really good though...made gravel from a bigger rock at 777yds...furthest I have tested it....
