Remington 700 long range vs sendaro

Man, and to think if we were all at a range and not behind a key board, we would all probably be friends and more respectful to one another.

That would actually be a lot of fun. There are several members on this forum that I enjoy reading what they have to say, even if I'm not particularly interested in the topic on its own. I'd love to be able to sit on the same line as them while getting trigger time, passing stories, etc.

That would be fun. I'm sure many of us on here have some small bits of wisdom to pass on to others. And honestly just hearing some good stories would be fun.
Maybe we should start a hunting stories thread.

I'm a lil late to the discussion but I have a Sendero and a standard sps stainless. Both 7mm Remington Magnum. The Sendero is bedded and has a timney trigger. Shoots between 1/2 to 3/4 moa or to 500 for me if I get my part right. (Gulf winds in Florida get me). The sps stainless is stock trigger, Devcon bedded, and had a B&C stock. It shoots just as good. Both like different loads but will shoot what they like great for me. I think any of your choices would be a good rifle. I like the feel of the B & C but the HS sits on a bench really nice since it's wider. Let's us know how they shoot when ever you do decide.

Thanks I haven't got to hunt with it much but I plan on shooting some hogs this spring and summer with it. I'll put up some pics when I do. It was a good deal when I got it and shoots pretty good too.

I've got one buddy that I load for with a sendero 300wm that shoots an honest ragged hole at 100yds with h-1000 and 215 bergers, as well as another buddy that has a chromoly long range 300RUM who I also load for, that shoots equally as well with 210 bergers and h-1000. Probably in the .2-.3 range several times personally when I was working the loads up for them. Both rifles have timney triggers and only the recoil lugs bedded and shoot equally as well, if not a touch better than some of my best shooters. They have their quirks like most mass produced rifles but shoot **** good. I like the looks and feel of the sendero a touch better personally and would probably pick it if I had the extra funds ratholed away but I wouldn't say it's a given that it'll outshoot the LR with top notch handloads.

Most of my go to guns, over the years, have been senderos, or sendero variants. ( ones that Ive modified). That being said, I've had some that were Matt black, and fluted stainless. The early sendero stock was by far the best, I feel, because I personally don't like the palm swell.
As to the Long Range model, with the B.C. stock, with stainless as a option, I kinda like it. The bc stock is not as stiff as the HS, but I'm sure it will shoot.
I actually, like that 30.06, is a option in this configuration. That would be fun to play with.
My vote, for the difference in money, would be the long range, stainless.
